ANZAC Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients 
  • 1/2 cup flour 
  • 1/3 cup sugar 
  • 2/3 cup coconut 
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats 
  • 50 grams butter 
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup 
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water 
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Melt butter and golden syrup . 
  3. Mix flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats (roughly cut). 
  4. Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water and then add to the butter and golden syrup. 
  5. Stir butter mixture into the dry ingredients. 
  6. Place level table spoonful of mixture onto greased trays. 
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
